西新英格兰学院位于风景如画的马萨诸塞州的第三大城市春田市，周围大学名校云集，聚集了35所大学和学院，学生人数达150000之多。西英格兰学院建于1919年。该校设有40多个本科专业，涵盖文学、科学、商业、工程、法学以及药剂。每年的“美国最优秀学院”排名中，西英格兰学院在北部硕士大学中位于前列。该学院获得美国新英格兰院校组织认可，商学院获得AACSB认可，工程学院全部获得ABET认可。现有2500名全日制注册学生。加上本科、硕士、法律非全日制学生一共3700名学生。其中61%全日制学生为男性，79%的本科生居住在学校，2%为国际生。西英格兰学院师资力量雄厚，无研究生助教，小班授课，每班不超过35人，师生比例1：15。

生活住宿/Accommodation

1965年，学校建立了第一幢供学生住宿的大楼。学生的生活大楼从单一的生活楼拓展成了一所多功能的供师生一起分享的大楼。校内生活设施设备完善，并且力求满足学生不断变化中的需求。1977年，学校新添设一幢住宿楼，该楼设计成环形，风格独特。1982年，随着学生人数的增加，学校再添一幢住宿楼供学生选择。目前，大约90%的新生选择学校住宿，并且有大量的法学及研究生学生住在学校中。校园住宿生活丰富多彩。
